How does a water imploder work?
Water purifiers work through a process called template-assisted crystallization (TAC). In template-assisted crystallization, water flows through a tank of her TAC medium. This medium consists of tiny beads of polymer covered with craters called 'nucleation sites'. These nucleation sites act as templates for the formation of hardness crystallites. When hard water comes into contact with media, magnesium and calcium ions are trapped at nucleation sites. Small crystallites form when more calcium and magnesium ions accumulate within the site. When they reach a certain size, these crystals eventually detach from the media and are released into the water.itioner
These crystallites are stable and maintain their crystal structure as they flow through the pipe. They do not break down or form limescale deposits on water pipes. Destructive and toxic scale on home plumbing is one of the most common problems faced by people living with hard water. Limescale prematurely ruins equipment such as coffee machines, dishwashers and washing machines. Damage to water heaters is particularly devastating. This is because the hotter the water, the faster lime scale forms. Scale can also reduce water pressure, restrict flow, and worse, stop water from flowing into your home. Replacing domestic plumbing can be expensive, so if scale control is your primary concern, a scale control product or water imploder such as ScaleNet is a good investment.
